Sounds of the Labyrinth of the Seven Heavens
(2007) wants to pay tribute to Kandinsky for his forays into the world of sounds and art.
In Sounds of the Labyrinth of the Seven Heavens, seven
stainless steel circles that revolve around inside each other, demand
percussion from the viewer to extract the sounds that are hidden
inside. They are also a tribute to Jaume Sisa for his evocation of the
seven heavens, and especially for the beloved seventh heaven imagined
inside our head.

EXPLORING SPACES WITHOUT PLACE
Exhibition in ParcArt. May-June 2007
With this exhibition of sculpture at
ParcArt I invite you to take a brief tour of several ways in which I
immersed in the past ten years, exploring spaces without place,
utopian, rebels for their non ubiquity, uncomfortable because of their
nonconformity.
The journey through time begins with the model of Utopia
(1996) erected in 2001 at Parc de la Vila d’Esparreguera, which originally was titled The Last look, the sea, in memory of those who were shot against the sea ‘wall’ at Camp de la Bota in Barcelona.
The tour continues with Three Geniuses (1997), a work around the magical universe of the desire that is part of the exhibition Traps for a Square (in les Bernardes de Salt), in a version of 3.5 meters of height.
Mirror and We Will Always Weep Icarus (both 1998) were exposed at the The Hidden Rebelliousness of the Scalene Triangle
(at Can Sisteré, Santa Coloma de Gramenet), which revealed that
the established powers always bet on the subjugation strength of
symmetry: cathedrals, the Llotja of Barcelona, the unfortunate Twin
Towers ... the latest of these works is a lament for the hero who dared
to rise into the sun, challenging the realm of gods.
Whaterweel of Wishes
(2000) was selected by the Guttmann Institutecontest
and it is inspired by the wheels of the chairs of the disabled, turning
the wheel into a spring of desires, like the eastern prayer mills.
The following works are about the doubts of men about the twilight of gods and their own fate: Four Horns (2001) and Sunset of the Moon’s Temple (2003).
Double Crescent (2004) was a period of contemplative rest about the arcanes linked to the crescent moon. Then, comes Així jo t'abracés, Girona (2004).
It's a model of a tribute to this city that has always captivated me
with the jealousy with which its identity is retained.
Star of the Marine
(2005) corresponds to the large format sculpture in Badalona’s
harbor; it plays with the symbolism of three poles that reminisce of a
boat trip and whose shadow is projected with a star on the cover in the
summer solstice.
Traverse The Walls, Traverse The Book (2005)
proposes a reflection about the atrocities committed in the name of the
"Book", the Bible, the Koran, the Red Book ... Finally, Sounds of the Labyrinth of the Seven Heavens (2007) is a tribute to Kandinsky for his forays into the world of sounds and art.
